OSCP : 개방형 스마트차징 프로토콜
The basic function of the Open Smart Charging Protocol (OSCP) is to communicate physical net capacity from the DSO (or site owner) to the back-office of the charge spot operator. The protocol can be used to communicate a 24 hour prediction of the local available capacity to the Charge Spot Operator. The Service Provider will fit the charging profiles of the electrical vehicles within the boundaries of the available capacity. At the moment there are two versions of OSCP available.
OSCP 1.0 Open Smart Charging Protocol 1.0
The first version of OSCP, the OSCP 1.0 was released in 2015. The OSCP is mainly used to make optimal use of the available capacity on the grid without overburdening the grid.
OSCP 2.0 Open Smart Charging Protcol 2.0
The second version of OSCP, the OSCP 2.0 was released in 2020. The core functionalities of the protocol kept the same. The following changes have been made in in comparison with OSCP 1.0:
- The terms in the protocol have been made more generic. The reason for using more generic terms is that this specification does not want to limit possibilities of the protocol to smart charging EVs. This is driven by the integration of EVs in larger energy ecosystems, including PV, stationary batteries, heat pumps and other devices.
- Switch to JSON / REST
- Additional types of forecasts (generation, consumption, fallback)
- Message for reporting errors.
