Organization
The Open Charge Alliance is an industry alliance which is directed by the OCA board. The OCA board contains five companies which are representing all the OCA members: Shell Recharge, ESB, ChargePoint, Pionix GmbH and ElaadNL.
The board is responsible for the annual plan and the budget, establishing or ending working groups and task groups and for the determination of the main strategy.
Within the OCA community working groups are formed, the current working groups are the Technology Working Group (TWG) and the Compliance Working Group (CWG). Within these working groups small task groups are formed to research and work on specific problems, these groups are temporary.
As a non-profit foundation, we reinvest the fees collected from members and companies purchasing OCTT to advance the development and spread of OCPP and other open standards.
For more information on the OCA structure please check the OCA Policies and Procedures.
