Bringing OCA and EVRoaming Foundation members together at the Member Meeting North America

On November 18, we kicked off the Member Meeting North America in Toronto, in collaboration with the EVRoaming Foundation and hosted at ChargeLab. It was fantastic to see so many familiar and new faces come together to talk about the future of open standards in EV charging.

The first day was all about OCPP, with special attention to developments in the North American market. OCA Director Lonneke Driessen shared the latest OCA updates and OCA Technical Editor Milan Jansen presented our most recent whitepaper, “Migrating Charging Stations“. We dived deeper into the world of OCPP with panel discussions and presentations about network migration, cyber security, V2X, “OCPP & OCPI” and more! In the evening, we headed out to the SWTCH office for demos and networking dinner.

On November 19, we had a full schedule again, with expert presentations and panel discussions focusing on OCPI and roaming. A big thank you to our participants, including OCA members, EVRoaming members and external guests, for the curiosity and for the great energy during this event! We also warmly thank the companies and speakers who helped make this Member Meeting a success. Together we define the future of EV charging.
