As of December 2025, we are proud to announce the updated OCPP 2.0.1 Certification Program.
The certification program for OCPP 2.0.1 opened in 2023. Since then many products have been certified by our independent testing laboratories. Over the years certification included the mandatory Core profile, alongside the optional profiles like Reservations, Advanced User Interface and Local List Management.
Starting December 2025, the Program is updated to apply the same simplification to the OCPP 2.0.1 Certification Program as recently applied to the OCPP 1.6 Certification Program.
What’s new?
- The core still includes basic Charging Station functionality for booting, authorization, configuration, transactions, remote control, secure firmware updates and Security Profile 2.
- Reservations, Local List Management, Advanced Device Management and Advanced User Interface are now optional features in the Core profile
Update on the OCPP 2.0.1 Certification Logo
Along with the internal updates, we have also made some small adjustments in the visual appearance of the OCPP 2.0.1 Certified Logo. The brand new badge still reflects the version of OCPP and the profiles succesfully tested and certified. However, we have updated the font, colourway and the visible profiles as described above.
