OCTT is the Compliance Test Tool for OCPP implementers to test their devices on protocol conformity. With this tool you can test your OCPP 2.1, OCPP 2.0.1 and OCPP 1.6 implementations and check if you have implemented the OCPP specification correctly. OCTT is a platform for testing OCPP implementations of a Charging Station Management System (CSMS), a Charging Station (CS) or a Charging Station Software Stack (CSSS).
Hosted by the Open Charge Alliance, OCTT is a cloud-based solution. It is available as a subscription service with a web-based interface for testing OCPP implementations for your organization’s internal use. With OCTT, you can quickly identify and resolve potential issues.

OCPP is available to everyone, testing OCPP should be accessible too. That is why the OCA is introducing the new OCTT suite featuring OCTT Professional and OCTT Starter. What has changed?
OCTT Professional brings multiple OCPP versions together in one service. Instead of purchasing separate test case sets, you will have access to OCPP 1.6, OCPP 2.0.1 and OCPP 2.1, within a single annual subscription. It is intended for professional OCPP development, validation and certification preparation.
OCTT Starter will provide free access to more than 300 Core test cases for OCPP 1.6, OCPP 2.0.1 and OCPP 2.1. It is intended for getting started with OCPP development and basic validation.
