The Open Charge Alliance (OCA) is pleased to announce that OCPP 2.1 testing is now available.
Following the release of OCPP 2.1 and its test cases in 2025, we are proud to take the next step by making OCPP 2.1 testing available in OCTT Professional.
With OCTT Professional, manufacturers and developers can test their OCPP implementations, accelerate development, identify potential issues and prepare for certification, helping to improve interoperability across the EV charging industry.
New capabilities introduced in OCPP 2.1, such as ISO 15118-20 support, bidirectional power transfer and improved smart charging, can now be tested using OCTT Professional, the latest offering in the OCTT Suite, which supports OCPP 1.6, OCPP 2.0.1 and OCPP 2.1.
This milestone is the result of close collaboration with our Golden System Under Test (SUT) Partners, who have played an important role in testing the new capabilities. It also marks an important next step in supporting the adoption of OCPP 2.1 and helping the EV charging industry develop reliable, interoperable charging solutions.
