The certification program for OCPP 1.6 opened in 2019. Since then, hundreds of products have been certified by our independent testing laboratories. Click here to view the full list of the certified products. On this page, you will find information on how to certify your OCPP 1.6 implementation.
WHAT DIFFERENT CERTIFICATES ARE AVAILABLE?

HOW CAN I GET MY PRODUCT TESTED AND CERTIFIED?
Please follow these steps:
In this form, you can specify the aspects of your OCPP 1.6 product you would like to have tested. Complete the document and send it to your selected certification test laboratory. Once you pass the certification tests, this will be part of your certificate.

WHAT DOES IT COST TO BECOME OCPP 1.6 CERTIFIED?
The table below lists the maximum fees for all OCPP 1.6 certification profiles including security as of April 1st 2025*. When a vendor of a Charging Station applies for a subset certificate, the labs will reduce the fee accordingly. The maximum fees apply to one full test run. This excludes pretesting, debugging and/or retesting sessions.

As of April 1st 2025, the OCA certification fee has been reduced. Therefore, the discount fee when acquiring multiple certificates in 12 months does not apply anymore.
*For test services contracted before this date and performed after this date, the test labs can charge the previous maximum fees (2019-2024).
**OCA participants get a discount since they have already contributed in part through their OCA membership fees. The discount does not apply for OCA liaison participants.
What does it cost to add an OCPP product family member?
The table below lists the max fees for adding OCPP product family members to the certificate of a Charging Station. Please refer to the Certification procedure for the requirements for adding a product family member.
