This year OCA celebrates it’s 10th anniversary! To celebrate this remarkable milestone, we have organized a special three-day event  that highlights our achievements and strengthens our community. Starting in Amsterdam we will set the stage for an even more exciting future. Below you find more information on the event.

Agenda 10th anniversary

We start the OCA celebration with a reception and gala dinner at the beautiful H’art museum in Amsterdam. During the reception we raise our glass to a decenia of innovation and collaboration within the alliance. The reception is generously sponsored by Pionix.

After the reception we will make our way to the dinner. During the dinner we will have speeches, awards and entertaiment.

We will begin with a reception and welcome drink at 18:00, followed by dinner at 19:00. The evening will conclude at approximately 22:00.

 

 

On Wednesday October 23 we have a full schedule ready for you! The of the H’art Museum opens its doors at 09:00 am. During the day we have have two main activities for you.

The OCA 10th anniversary conference

During the conference we show you how EV charging differs in the world and how a standard like OCPP is not a one size fits all, but how the standard must adjust to the demand in the market. We will do this with the help of interesting and insightfull speakers, refreshing subjects and innovative ideas. Find the full schedule below:

09:30 – Keynote welcome speech  with Universitetet i Oslo
10:15 – Continental collaboration in EV charging with Chris Heron (Avere) And Phil Jones (ATE)
11:00 – Coffee break
11:30 – How it all started – the first pioneers with Michiel Langezaal (Fastned), Lamber Muhlenberg (Alfen) and Franc Buve (OCA)
12:15 – O is for Open Source with Keith Bergelt (OIN), Marco Möller (Pionix), Sachiko Muto (OFE) and Mirko Boehm (LF Europe)
13:00 Lunch
14:00 – The nice thing about standards… with Lonneke Driessen (OCA), Michael Keller (CharIN), Roland Ferwerda (EVRF) and Tomoko Blech (CHAdeMO)
14:45 – Electrifying Everything, Airplanes & Building Equipment – Daniel Rosen Jacobson (Elysian) and Tobias Stocker (GMB)
15:30 – Tea break

After the day of conference and exhibition it is time for a drink and networking. We won’t do this in a regular way! Our amazing sponsors have made it possible to do the drinks and networking on an electric canal boat tour! During a two hour tour (start at 17:00) you will see all the hotspots of Amsterdam while enjoying a drink and a good talk.

The Thursday we offer you the possibility to join us during exiting field visits! We offer you four tracks to participate in.

Track 1: Meet the Industry in the Amsterdam Region

Discover the heart of innovation by visiting leading  EV companies in the Amsterdam area. Get an insider’s view of the technologies and ideas driving the future of EV charging. The companies that you will visit during this tour are: Vattenfall, Irdeto, Fastned and EVbox.

Track 2: Meet the Policy Makers

During this track you will be introduced to the world of policy makers. Visit the cities of Amsterdam and Utrecht. Meet the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and learn how they approach the opportunities and challenges of the EV adoption.

Track 3: Meet Arnhem Electricity city

Explore the dynamic EV industry in the Arnhem region. Visit top-tier companies and gain insights into their projects and solutions contributing to the growth of the EV charging sector. We will visit ElaadNL, Allego Dekra and DNV.

Track 4: Come Fly with Me in Electric Airplanes

This special track will take you to airport Teuge, where you are going to take a flight in an electric airplane! At airport Teuge we have multiple airplanes and instructors available to take you up in the air. There is a limited number of flights available, so make sure you register early. This track requires a contribution of 275,-
