We have compiled an interesting side program for everyone who is invested in the development of OCPP and EV charging standards. For two days we will dive deeper into communication protocols, new developments and new technologies.

10:00 - 10:30 OCA update New task groups, board elections, plugfests going global and much more. 2024 is a promising year for the members of the OCA. In this presentation we will have a look at coming events, new publications and the new OCPP 2.1 version.

14:30 - 15:00 OCPP & the California Pricing Requirements update Update on the latest version of the application note ‘OCPP & the California Pricing Requirements third edition’.
16:00 - 16:30 EV Charging standards, what is what? Beat Kreuter will guide you through the landscape of OCPP-, SAE-, ISO 15118-, IEC61851-23-, CharIN Extended & Advanced standards and all its updates!

11:45 - 12:30 What is new in the IEC standard for safety and functionality for DC Fast Charging (IEC 61851-23:2023 Ed.2) This presentation will point out the key chances in the second edition of the IEC 61851-23 (published in December 2023) compared to the first edition (published 2014) and why they matter!
