Over the coming three months, the Open Charge Alliance will bring the global OCA community together across three different continents. From Asia to Europe and Australia, these events provide unique opportunities to connect with industry peers, exchange knowledge, discuss the latest developments in EV charging, and test the interoperability of charging solutions based on OCPP.
Whether you are looking to deepen your technical knowledge, participate in interoperability testing, discover the latest trends in the charging ecosystem, or simply connect with other members of the community, there is an OCA event waiting for you.
We look forward to welcoming the global OCA community at one or multiple of these events. Discover what each event has to offer below.
OCPP Plugfest & Conference Asia
August 25–26, 2026 | COEX Conference Centre, Seoul, Korea
The first event on the calendar is the OCPP Plugfest & Conference Asia, taking place at the COEX Conference Centre in Seoul, Korea.
This two-day event will bring together professionals from across the EV charging ecosystem for a combination of knowledge sharing, networking, and interoperability testing. The conference program will cover a wide range of topics related to:
- OCPP
- EV charging developments
- Cybersecurity
Alongside the conference, participants will have the opportunity to join OCPP interoperability testing sessions, connecting directly with other companies to validate their implementations.
To complement the conference and experience more the Korean culture, participants can also join the Cultural Experience & networking dinner. This will include a visit to the Lotte World Tower and the Folk Museum. It is the perfect opportunity to experience Korean culture while connecting with fellow members of the OCA community in a more informal setting.

OCPP Plugfest & Conference Europe
September 22–23, 2026 | ESB Headquarters, Dublin, Ireland
Following the success of the OCPP Plugfest Europe in Arnhem in 2025, OCA is returning with a new European edition of the Plugfest & Conference. This time, ESB will open its headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, welcoming the OCA community for two days of interoperability testing and one day of knowledge sharing.
The event will combine:
- One conference day focused on industry trends and developments
- Two days of OCPP interoperability testing
- Cybersecurity testing opportunities for participating teams
During the testing days, participants will have the opportunity to test their OCPP implementations with other industry players, identify potential interoperability challenges, and exchange practical experiences. Additionally, testers will have the possibility to schedule a cybersecurity penetration test performed by ElaadNL, providing valuable insights into the security of their implementations.
The conference on September 22 will explore the theme: “Delivering electrification at scale: the role of standards, security and policy.”
The program will connect lessons learned from the development of EV charging infrastructure with the challenges facing the industry today and the decisions needed to accelerate future electrification.
To complete the Irish experience, participants can join the cultural evening at Johnny Fox’s Pub, where networking, dinner, and traditional Irish hospitality will provide another opportunity to connect with the community.
