The OCA Meet-Up Japan is designed to introduce OCPP and the work of the Open Charge Alliance to a wider Japanese audience, while also creating space for industry perspectives, practical discussions, and networking.
Throughout the day, attendees can expect presentations from OCA and Japanese industry stakeholders, insights into local EV charging developments, and discussions on topics such as OCPP, CHAdeMO, V2X, mobile payment methods, cybersecurity, and the OCPP Security Operations Guide. The program will also include startup pitches, OCA member presentations, exhibitors, and several networking moments.

What to expect?
Attendees can look forward to a full-day program with a mix of presentations, industry insights, pitches, and networking. The agenda includes an introduction to OCPP, updates on Japanese EV charging developments, presentations on CHAdeMO and OCPP in relation to V2X, and sessions on mobile payment methods for EV charging. Throughout the day, there will be time to visit exhibitors, meet other participants, and continue the conversation during networking drinks.

Are you a young company with an innovative solution for the e-mobility industry? During the OCA Meet-Up Japan, a limited number of startups will have the opportunity to give a 5-minute pitch as part of the event program.
This pitch session is intended for startups that are no older than 2 years, are active in the e-mobility industry, and are implementing OCPP in their product or service.
If you would like to be considered for a pitch slot, please provide:
- A short description of your company
- An explanation of your involvement with OCPP
- The topic of your pitch
Please note that the presentation time is strictly limited to 5 minutes. Pitch slots are limited and selection may be based on relevance to the event program.
